Cancellation: Classes may also be canceled due to low enrollment, defined as fewer than 10 registrants for courses with a registration fee and 5 registrants for all other classes. Course registration is examined one (1) week prior to class; a cancellation determination is made on a case by case basis based on enrollment. You will receive a cancellation notice by email.
This workshop provides training on the general ledger module. A journal is the vehicle used to correct/adjust previously recorded transactions, process interdepartmental invoices, transfer expenditures, record departmental sales & service revenues, agency expenses and continuing education revenue and expenses. Participants will be taught how to create, modify, delete, print, and approve a journal, inquire on a journal and troubleshoot errors.
This workshop provides training on the basic navigation of the PeopleSoft Financials and Panther Mart tools and basic concepts of Financials operations.
This seminar will provide detailed information on medical, dental and vision benefits, accessing your pay statement, timecard and report of absence information. We will also discuss your life insurance options, flexible spending and health saving account information. Mandatory retirement plans will be discussed (exempt employees will have 60 days to select this benefit) in detail. At the end of the session you will have the opportunity to immediately enroll in your benefits on line.

This session is held in the Basement Conference Room of One Park Place from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon as scheduled on the form below. Benefits are effective the first of the month after enrollment in ADP, unless hired and enrolled for benefits on the first of the month.

This workshop provides training for those people who will be procuring goods and services, equipment purchases and consultant agreements. This workshop will cover shopping using catalog, non-catalog and punch-out catalog; assigning carts; reviewing carts and assigning accounting and workflow information; submitting the purchase requisition into workflow, approving transactions and receiving goods.
Safety procedures for working in a research laboratory or any area where there is a potential to come in to contact with either an open source of radiological material such as radioisotopes or either a closed source such as an X-ray machine. In this class, students will sign up for dosimeter badges to be monitored for radiation exposure if applicable.
This workshop is for all employees. It is based on William Bridges change model and focuses on the human side of change. Participants will explore the differences between change, which happens externally and transition which happens internally and is different for each individual. They will also explore the change and transition continuum which includes Endings, the Neutral Zone and Beginnings. Participants will identify where they are on the change and transition continuum as well as ways to thrive in each stage.
This workshop provides training for those people who will be requesting payments for less than $5,000 and generally these transactions include processing invoices, reimbursements, payments to independent contractors/consultants, food purchases, non-employee travel reimbursements, relocation and moving expenses, scholarships/fellowships and stipends. This workshop also provides training for those people who process travel for their departments and/or units. Only Employee and Student travel will be processed using the Panther Mart Travel Authorization form.
