WOMEN AT WORK
The Six Pillars
The Women at Work planning committee has established six pillars individuals can work on to be successfully balanced: Image, communication, financial fitness, community service, health and wellness, and fun.
Each year, the committee invites representatives from the community to lead workshops/webinars and host a table during our annual workshop to educate our participants in these six areas.
What is Women At Work?
The goal of the Women at Work Series is to generate new knowledge for Georgia State University staff, create more informed and business-savvy citizens, and provide an additional professional development option for the university community. Students also participate in the series, which allows them to network, enhance their presentation skills and knowledge base, and seek mentors. This series has become a tool to educate, motivate and empower those who participate.
During the 2019-2020 academic year, our theme is, “Lighting Your Path To A BRIGHTER Future: At each event, we will take steps to reach the end of our path. Join us as we continue to educate, motivate and empower.
