
Who We Are and What We Do
The Office of Diversity Education Planning (ODEP) is composed of professional staff who are veteran administrators, managers, practitioners and researchers provide leadership and partnership in matters of diversity and inclusion. ODEP serves the Georgia State community by providing opportunities for the interpersonal, intercultural and professional growth of staff related to diversity and inclusion and cultural competencies.
Through its diversity awareness and inclusiveness programs and projects, ODEP supports the university’s efforts to be a nationally recognized model for leadership in inclusion. The office uses various formats of personal and interpersonal training to identify a broad range of educational approaches in exploring workplace topics that include gender, race and cultural relations, religion, sexual orientation, expression, and identity, generational differences and others.
